Summer is rapidly approaching, and the temperatures are rapidly soaring.
We’ve had fun today trying to keep cool. This morning I spent a couple of hours researching summer activities for the boys to do and signed them up for Vacation Bible School, while they watched “Underdog”. Then they spent a couple of hours running around the house in their capes, yelling “Have no fear, Underdog is here!” They occasionally say the word underwear instead of underdog – and apparently that is hilariously funny, especially to boys ages 6 and 4.
This afternoon, Hubby and I got to have a date! There’s a new drop-off daycare not too far from us. So we dropped the boys off for a couple of hours of play time while we went to the Studio Movie Grill. We enjoyed a couple of appetizers as we watched the new “Indiana Jones” movie. Goodness, I love Indy… I can’t say it was a great movie or nearly as good as the other Indiana Jones movies, but it was action-packed, and the somewhat cheesy/kooky story had our attention. Let’s just say it was a fun way to spend an afternoon.

I don’t have a tiger fish, but I do have a Tigger fish! That boy loves to be in the water as long as he has his goggles on… I don’t want to miss out on all the fun, so I’ll see ya’ll later!
