There are days the man drives me completely insane.
Days when I wonder why it is sooooo difficult to place dirty clothes in the hamper instead of next to the hamper.
Days when I wonder why it is so difficult to close cupboard doors after removing the desired item from the cupboard.
Days when I wonder why the milk can’t be placed back in the refrigerator after adding the requisite amount to the coffee cup.
Then there are days, I am so proud of him.
Days when he can look at a situation and know what steps to take to get to the desired outcome.
Days when he doesn’t talk about doing the right thing, usually the hard thing, he doesn’t say “I coulda/shoulda/woulda…”
He just says what needs to be said and does what needs to be done.
Even if it makes someone mad.
Even if it hurts someone’s feelings, because sometimes the truth hurts.
This past weekend, we had an issue come up when we were camping. It involved unsupervised kids and their parents. I won’t get into the details of it, but suffice it to say, it wasn’t pleasant. However, he handled it with just the right amount of tact and force. He made me so proud. Proud that he’s a natural leader, proud that he’s my husband, just plain proud of him.

What a wonderful tribute!
Aw! I’m glad you have him! He sounds like a keeper. You’re a lucky one!
