Monday night I made plans to head out and play Bunco with the neighborhood gals. The boys couldn’t believe that I was leaving the house to go play games without them. And only Mommies were going to play games! They are still trying to figure out why on earth a bunch of Mommies would want to play games without kids… I had a great time. Lots of laughs.
While I was gone Hubby entertained Woody and Tigger with popcorn and a John Wayne movie. A three-hour John Wayne movie.
Today, I find Rooster Cogburn in my back yard. I realize you may not recognize him without his eye patch, but he’s trying very hard to close his right eye.

So cute! There’s nothing like some Daddy/boy entertainment. At our house, we call that, “Boys Night”!
P.S. Sometimes my hubby and the boys have “Man Days.” They go out to a movie, or to the zoo, all by themselves, NO GIRLS ALLOWED. It’s fun for me, too, since it turns into a girl day for Emma and me!
Hey, True Grit is a GREAT movie! Had a very young and cute (then) Glen Campbell! Glad they had some ‘man’ time! Good you got out to play yourself!
Love playing Bunko with my girls too! And my son also wishes he could go along. I really do love this photo! The angle really sets it!
