Several months ago, I made a confession that I needed to lose some weight. Well, {drum roll, please} as of last Monday’s weigh in at Weight Watchers, I have lost 33.6 pounds.
I met my goal and then some! I don’t think I’ve ever been so proud of myself.
On my way to the 33.6 pound loss, I’ve had a few exciting events:
I hit my 10% WW goal.
I am amazed at how differently I feel with those pounds gone.
My ankles don’t hurt. My knees don’t hurt. My hips don’t hurt.
I had to go buy new jeans several weeks ago because the old ones were nearly falling off.
Last summer, I bought several pairs of capri pants. One pair didn’t fit then – I tucked them away in my closet because I didn’t want to face the fact that I couldn’t wear them. I pulled them out again last weekend and they fit like a dream.
One of my comfy, warm-weather button up shirts that was on the snug side last October – I’m nearly swimming in it now.
I’ve ridden my bike again! Sweet Hubby bought me a great bike a couple of years ago, but I just couldn’t do it. I mean I could ride it, but I thought was DYING every time that I did. I’ve been on my bike twice this week and I enjoyed it! I’m still huffing and puffing on even the slightest incline, so I still have a ways to go, but I feel like I can do it now.
Needless to say, I am so happy about this I could bust.
And while I’d love to rest on my laurels, I still have a long way to go to get to where I want to be. So, here I am issuing the next challenge: Another 30 pounds.
I’m going to swipe the extra 3.6 pounds I lost from the first 30 pound challenge, so that I can have a little bit of a head start on the next 30 pound challenge. Now only 26.4 to go! Yay, me!

AWESOME! Keep it up!!!
Thank you, Stacey!
