Lost 2 lbs. this week.
And I have to say that I am really proud of those two pounds. Because for four days of this week I visited my folks. Which means that for four days I was out of my “normal” routine. I didn’t have my “normal” food. I didn’t do any of my “normal” exercise. Yet, I still made progress toward my goal.
Even though I went out and ate tasty (but not so calorie-friendly) TexMex.
Even though I ate my mother’s delicious cooking. Not to mention, way too many sugar cookies.
Even though I ate a yummy steak dinner with my best friend from high school and her family.
Even though I took my boys to Dairy Queen to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the DQ Blizzard.
I still made progress. I think that is what I like best about Weight Watchers. They don’t say “you can’t have this” or “you can’t have that”. They say that moderation is the key. I have to say, I think they’re right.
