We’ve had lots of laughs in the TexasT house. Thought I’d share a couple of recent one’s with you…
This week I listened to an argument between Woody and Tigger. We were driving to an appointment and we were listening to the radio. A song came on that they must have liked because they started arguing about who got to play air guitar and who had to play air drums. I’m not sure why there couldn’t be two guitars, but the discussion sure lead to some funny arguments that made Mommy giggle.
Later, while we were visiting the eye doctor to check out Tigger’s vision. I was explaining to the doctor that when you ask Tigger to point at something, he immediately turns his head to the left, looks out the right side of his eyes and points with his right hand. Even if he is facing the object you ask him to point at, he’ll turn his head away and look out of the corner of his eye. This is something Tigger has done for a long time, I’ve asked other doctors about it, but no one could ever tell me WHY he does it. Well the doctor we saw this week was able to tell me – Hallelujah! – and as he was explaining it to me, Tigger piped up while pointing at one wall and looking at another said, “Hey Mom! I can point to the wall without looking!” HA! That kid cracks me up.
This morning my husband was trying to teach my children the chorus to Ray Charles’ song “I Don’t Need No Doctor”. (Against my wishes, of course.) But when Tigger sang it back to us, it sure made me a happy Mommy when he sang it with corrected grammar… “I don’t need any doctor.”

Air guitar vs. Drums – sound like an argument that would take place in my house!
I love that Tigger corrected the grammar in the song. It’s kind of like my 5 year old who can’t understand why Chick-fil-A can’t spell “more” correctly. Such smarty-pants we have!
oh my, the things these kids get worked up about!
